Microsoft drops price for Xbox 360!

I bet this is a good news to all the Xbox lover, Microsoft decides to cut down its Xbox 360 From Friday in US and undercutting Nintendo’s Wii in order to offer the cheapest next-generation console.

In addition, Microsoft also announced to cut 30% of the price for Xbox in Japan this week. Microsoft also said on Wednesday, the price of the basic 360 Arcade console which does not feature a hard drive would be cut by 29%-from $279.99 to $199.99-from Friday in US. This will also undercut the price of Wii, which has sold for $249.99 since it launch.  However, its console with a 60GB hard drive will retail for $299.99 - a cut of $50 and making it $100 cheaper than PlayStation 3 (PS3) that without its Blu-ray drive and WiFi capabilities. The Xbox 360 Elite, the top model, will drop to $399.99.
